As I went to bed late last night, I was happy to think that this week wasn't as busy and hard as past weeks this month. Things are starting to slow down and the peace in our home is starting to come back.
My children are such a blessing. They have been WONDERFUL this week!!! Despite sickness and no school on thursday or friday, they have been cute and just fun to be around.
Omama and Papa came home early this week. Omama is a fabulous cook and papa does great being the kids jungle gym, allowing me a chance to get other things done.
This is Omama letting Brooklynn feel special by putting a curler in her hair!:)
We FINALLY had our re-licensing visit. Our FRS working was very pleased and full of compliments of our home and how the children are growing. So we are officially licensed for another year!!:) Can't wait to see what children it hold for us!!!!
I found some old pictures this week. Pictures of Joel and I right before we got married and a wedding pictures. SOOOOOOOO glad I look like a mommy now! HAHAHA Oh the single life!
A little shout-out to my sister CHANTAL!!:) It was her birthday yesterday!!! I know we have had our differences (as families do) but I wish we were closer so we could celebrate together. Best I could do was send a video of the kids saying happy birthday. Lexi has been working hard on her speech. I'm noticing words she use to say are more difficult and the harder ones she is saying better. Makes no sense, but cracks me up that she couldn't quite say Auntie Bella last night...It was coming out umbrella. LOL LOL LOL So Happy Birthday umbrella...we love you! And if you have time check out her blog, Army Ever After where she gives you a little insight into the life of a real Army Wife.
So as I sit here with my cup of tea and wrongfully delish Heiko's donut, I'm wondering if I wanna just relax and do nothing today or take the kids out to the pumpkin patch. Kinda an easy decision, but their faces are so cute when they get to pick a pumpkin! ITS FALL!:)
